Sealing tape iFlex, made from polyethylene membrane, mottled, one side laminated (iFLEX single) or both sides with special adhesive coating(iFLEX double). Tape is made with scratch enforce function in walls and fundamental plates(iFLEX WR). Special coating is secured by film, divided into two parts, which allows for later removal. Due to special coating iFLEX tape bonds perfectly with mortar. iFlex sealing tape is used for sealing working gaps in monolithic structures – in connection point of plate and walls to secure structure from water migration from one structure to another and prevent water from getting through into structure.
Laying method:
• laying vertical before pouring concrete mix on reinforcement structure, installation via metal stirrup,
• laying vertical in fresh layer of concrete mix.
Laying conditions:
iFLEX membrane should be installed in conditions allowing basic bricklayer works, it is not recommended installing in temperature under -5 °C.
Conditions of use:
Creation of waterproofing protection with iFLEX tape should be carried out according to a technical design drawn up in accordance with current building regulations.
Bonding:
iFlex parts should be bonded through adhesive coating, additionally securing with metal clamps. A minimum width overlap of 10 cm should be applied.
Storage:
iFLEX should be storaged before use on site in original packaging, protecting it to exposure from sunlight.
